It's Time to "Spring Into Action!" for Monroe County United Ministries.
Join us for at the Bloomington-Monroe County Convention Center (302 South College Avenue) on Sunday, April 3. Free parking is available behind the center and adjacent hotel.
The doors open and the silent auction begins at 11:30am. Coffee and snacks prepared by culinary students at Ivy Tech Community College will be available while you enjoy music by a Bloomington High School North jazz combo. A buffet lunch featuring creamy tortellini with vegetables, chicken parmesan, grilled asparagus and glazed carrots will be served at 12:30.
Your emcee will be Dr. Jonathan Plucker, IU professor and Director of the Center for Evaluation and Education Policy. Amy Thompson will speak about her family's experience with MCUM's Childcare Program and Col. Mike Walcott of Kady Lynn Auctions will lend a hand by auctioning a few special items in a live auction.
Before you leave this event, enjoy a round of MCUM bingo. $100 in Downtown Bloomington certificates will go to the first person to call out BINGO!
